New Communities Development Worker
Offaly Local Development Company is currently seeking to recruit a Community Development Worker supporting new communities.
The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of the aims of the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme, which are to reduce poverty and promote social inclusion and equality through local, regional and national engagement and collaboration. The person will be part of the Offaly SICAP team, supporting people displaced from their home countries to address issues which affect them, help identify and address their support needs and organise events and activities to support wider community integration.
The successful applicant will have experience working with disadvantaged, new communities and marginalised individuals in a developmental capacity. A relevant 3rd level or Professional Qualification in related fields is desirable.
