Offaly Local Development Company’s Workplace Wellbeing Initiative was formed following multiple staff consultations. The current action plan addresses five key areas – staff support, physical health, work/life balance, physical environment and staff inclusion – with actions outlined under each theme.
At present, this action plan is reviewed annually by the steering group. As most of the actions have been completed since its initiation, or are now common practice within the company, plans for a new action plan are underway.
Offaly Local Development Company’s Workplace Wellbeing Initiative aims to build awareness of the multiple aspects of wellbeing into the everyday practices of the organisation, thus changing the workplace culture and providing a healthy and happy work environment for all staff.
