The Way Forward programme is delivered by OLDC in collaboration with the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection’s Activation Services in Co Offaly.
It was developed in response to a recognition for the need for a tailored initiative which would assist unemployed people, particularly young unemployed engaged through Activation, to identify a realistic career path and plan, become aware of the options available to assist them on this path, and have the motivation and support to carry through on it. The programme combines one-to-one and group work and lasts for two weeks.
